SSC JE Paper 1 Exam Pattern
Paper 1 is a Computer-Based Examination with 200 objective-type questions worth 200 marks, to be completed in 2 hours.

SSC JE Paper 2 Exam Pattern
Candidates who qualify Paper 1 appear for Paper 2, a Computer-Based Examination with 100 technical questions worth 300 marks, also of 2 hours duration. Paper 2 covers the candidate’s chosen engineering discipline in depth – Civil & Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunication, Computer Science & IT, or Physics (for Scientific Assistant posts in IMD). Correct answers carry 3 marks each, with 1 mark deducted for every wrong answer.
