The corrigendum added posts for subjects such as Bangla, Fine Arts, Dance, Maithili, Arabic, Persian, Music (Class 9-10) and Bangla, Bhojpuri, Magahi, Maithili, Pali, Prakrit, Arabic and Persian (Class 11-12).

- Class 1 to 5: CTET Paper-I or BTET Paper-I qualified
- Class 6 to 8: CTET Paper-II or BTET Paper-II qualified
- Class 9 to 10 and Special School Teacher: STET Paper-I qualified
- Class 11 to 12: STET Paper-II qualified
Educational qualification
- Class 1-5: Senior Secondary (12th) with at least 50% marks plus a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), or other combinations permitted by NCTE norms
- Class 6-8: Graduation with D.El.Ed or B.Ed as per NCTE rules
- Class 9-10: Graduation with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject plus B.Ed (Special School Teacher needs special education qualification recognised by RCI)
- Class 11-12: Post Graduation with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject plus B.Ed, or integrated B.Ed-M.Ed as per NCTE

Application Fee
As per the advertisement, every candidate has to pay an examination fee of Rs. 100 online. Bank charges, if any, are extra.
Selection Process and Exam Pattern
Selection will be made only on the basis of an objective written test. There is no interview. Each paper has 150 questions of 1 mark each with a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. Five options (A to E) are given; option E must be marked if a candidate does not want to answer. One-third mark is deducted for every wrong or unanswered question.

Part I (language) is qualifying and needs at least 30% marks. Minimum qualifying marks in the written test are 40% for General, 36.5% for BC, 34% for EBC and 32% for SC/ST, women and PwD candidates.
