AAI Consultant Recruitment 2026: Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited applications under Advt. No. 14/2026/CHQ/SSCOs for engagement of 39 retired Short Service Commission Officers (SSCOs) as Consultants on contract basis for ATC support at Joint User Defence Airfields. As per Corrigendum-2 dated 21.10.2026, the last date to apply has been extended to 11 November 2026. Applications are accepted only by e-mail.

Eligibility Criteria

• Retired Short Service Commission Officers of the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force or Indian Coast Guard.
• Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.
• Basic ATC Course or ATM and AL (Basic), plus GCA/ATSS Course.
• Minimum 5 years of cumulative ATC duties, including at least 1 year at a Joint User Defence Airfield.
• Age not more than 50 years on the last date of application, and retired not more than 6 years before the last date.

Tenure and Remuneration

• Initial engagement for 1 year, extendable by 1 year at a time, up to a total of 5 years (not beyond 55 years of age).
• Full-time engagement; no other assignment allowed.
• Fixed monthly remuneration equal to the pay last drawn at retirement minus basic pension, with no annual increment.
• HRA not admissible; fixed Transport Allowance applicable; TDS will be deducted. No TA/DA for interview or joining.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of application and interview. Selection will be based on merit in the interview. The interview schedule will be sent to the registered e-mail IDs of shortlisted candidates.
