Haryana Police SPO Recruitment 2026: The Telecommunication Wing of Haryana Police (Office of the Superintendent of Police, Telecommunication, Panchkula) is inviting applications for engagement of 170 Special Police Officers (SPOs) under Section 21 of the Haryana Police Act, 2007. The engagement is for ex-servicemen of the Armed Forces/CAPFs and ex-constables of the disbanded HSISF/HAP battalions. Eligible candidates must appear in person at their District Police Control Room on 5 November 2026 with the filled application form and documents.

There is no written or physical test. Selected SPOs will get a monthly honorarium of Rs. 20,000 for one year. Preference will be given to candidates with experience of handling telecommunication equipment, especially those who served in the Signal Corps of the Armed Forces/CAPFs.

Eligibility

• Minimum qualification: 10+2 from a recognised board.
• Age: not less than 25 years and not more than 50 years on the date of advertisement.
• Minimum 5 years of service in the Armed Forces/CAPFs; must not have been removed/dismissed for indiscipline, misconduct or medical unfitness.
• Medical category ‘A’ and character ‘Exemplary/Outstanding’ at the time of discharge.

Selection & Service Conditions

• No written or physical test.
• Medical examination and character/antecedent verification before the appointment letter.
• 15-day capsule course after selection.
• Engagement for one year or until regular appointments, whichever is earlier.
• Honorarium Rs. 20,000/month (bank transfer), one-time uniform allowance Rs. 3,000, TA/DA Rs. 150/day on official tour.
• Ex-gratia: Rs. 10 lakh on death in action; Rs. 3 lakh on natural death.
