AEES Teacher Recruitment 2026 has been announced by the Atomic Energy Education Society (AEES), an autonomous body under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. AEES has released Recruitment Notification 01/2026 (dated 31 October 2026) inviting online applications for 254 posts of Principal, Vice-Principal, PGT, TGT, Librarian, Primary Teacher (PRT) and Balvatika Teacher in its 30 schools spread across 15 centres including Mumbai, Tarapur, Kaiga, Kudankulam, Kalpakkam, Mysuru, Hyderabad, Jaduguda, Indore, Rawatbhata, Kakrapar and Pazhayakayal. Eligible candidates can apply online through the AEES Online Application Portal.

The post-wise break-up of the 254 tentative vacancies (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR, including PwBD) as given in the official notification is as follows:

Age Limit and Essential Qualification

• Principal: Age 35 to 50 years. Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks plus B.Ed with at least 50% marks from a recognised institution/university.
• PGT: Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks plus B.Ed from a recognised institution/university.
• TGT (all subjects): Upper age limit not exceeding 35 years. Graduate in the relevant subject combination plus B.Ed from a recognised institution/university.
• Primary Teacher (PRT) / Balvatika Teacher: Upper age limit not exceeding 30 years. Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 4-year B.El.Ed), plus CTET Paper-I qualified.

Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), and 10 years for women candidates applying for PGT, TGT, PRT, Librarian and Balvatika Teacher posts. Additional relaxation is available for PwBD candidates, Ex-servicemen and regular AEES employees as detailed in the official notification.

Selection Process

Selection for AEES Teacher Recruitment 2026 will be made through a Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by a Skill Test/Interview and document verification for shortlisted candidates. Candidates appointed may be posted anywhere in India on initial posting, and requests for change of station will not be entertained.

2. Register using a valid personal email ID and mobile number.
3. Fill in the online application form with correct personal, educational and category details.
4. Upload a recent colour photograph and other required documents/certificates.
5. Select only one post/subject per application; pay the requisite fee separately for each post applied for.
6. Submit the form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

Candidates should note that within PGT posts, and separately within TGT posts, only one subject/post can be applied for, irrespective of whether the candidate is eligible for more than one subject. Application fee and exemption details are available on the online application portal while filling the form.

• CTET Paper-I mark statement (for PRT, TGT except Music/Art/P&HE/Librarian)
• Caste/category certificate, EWS certificate or PwBD certificate, as applicable
• Experience certificate, if claiming experience
• Signature of the candidate

Important Tips

• Apply early and avoid waiting for the last date, as AEES will not be responsible for technical glitches near the closing date.
• Within PGT and within TGT, a candidate can apply for only one subject/post per application — double-check your subject choice before submitting.
• Keep scanned copies of all certificates (educational, category, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, NOC for government employees) ready before starting the online form.
• Candidates applying for PRT, TGT (except Music, Art Education and P&HE) must have a valid CTET Paper-I certificate issued on or before the closing date.
• Do not share your login credentials with anyone; admit cards and call letters will only be available via candidate login.
