Eligibility Criteria
- Most posts: Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university (UGC) or equivalent.
- DSP (Communications): B.E/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication or Radio Engineering.
- Age: 18โ44 years for most posts; 21โ30 for DSP (Civil) and 18โ30 for DSP (Communications), as on 01.07.2026. Age relaxation as per AP Government rules.
- Police posts also have physical and vision standards listed in the notification.

- Screening Test โ objective type, offline (OMR) โ 24 January 2027
- Main Examination โ descriptive type (medium and zone preferences taken online before Mains)
- Certificate verification / medical as applicable
