Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics, Economics, Commerce or Computer Science, with Statistics as a paper in one, two or all three years
- The degree must be from a university recognised by UGC / established by a Central or State Act
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 and 44 years as on 01.07.2026. Age relaxation applies to SC/ST/BC/EWS (5 years), PBD (10 years) and other categories as per A.P. government rules.

Candidates from other states must pay both the Rs. 250 processing fee and the Rs. 80 exam fee. Payment is only online through net banking, credit card or debit card.
Selection Process and Exam Pattern
Selection will be based on an objective written test in CBRT mode, followed by a qualifying Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). Exam centres: Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati and Ananthapuramu.

One-third of the marks for a question is deducted for every wrong answer. The CPT carries 100 marks in 60 minutes; the qualifying marks are 40 for OC, 35 for BC and 30 for SC/ST/PBD candidates.
