Technician seats are spread across Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics and Electronics; trade seats cover Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic and Machinist. Category-wise numbers are in the notification.
Eligibility Criteria
- Technician Apprentice: 3-year regular full-time Diploma in the relevant engineering branch.
- Trade Apprentice: 10th pass plus 2-year ITI in the relevant trade.
- Graduate Apprentice: Full-time regular Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Data Entry Operator: 12th pass (fresher) or Skill Certificate holder as per notification.
- Minimum marks: 50% aggregate for General/EWS/OBC-NCL and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD (reserved seats).
- Qualification must have been completed recently (from April 2023 onward for graduates/diploma holders; April 2022 onward for ITI) โ see notification for exact rules.
Age Limit
18 to 24 years as on 30.09.2026. Relaxation: SC/ST โ 5 years, OBC-NCL โ 3 years, PwBD โ 10 years (additional to category relaxation).
Stipend
Stipend will be paid as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and the Apprentices Rules as amended from time to time.
