APPSC AMVI Recruitment 2026 – 50 Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector Posts, Apply Online from 6 November

APPSC AMVI Recruitment 2026 brief notification (No. 36/2026, dated 13 October 2026) has been released by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission for 50 posts of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector (AMVI) in the A.P. Transport Service. Online applications will be accepted from 6 November 2026 to 26 November 2026 (up to 11:59 PM) on psc.ap.gov.in. Candidates with a Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or a Diploma in Automobile Engineering, along with a heavy vehicle driving licence and experience, can apply.

APPSC AMVI Recruitment 2026 Eligibility

• Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering from a recognised university, OR Diploma in Automobile Engineering from SBTET Andhra Pradesh / equivalent.
• Technical qualification: A valid motor driving licence with Heavy Transport Vehicle endorsement and at least 3 years of experience in driving motor vehicles (see the notification for full conditions).
• Age: 21 to 36 years as on 01/07/2026; relaxation for reserved categories as per rules.

How to Apply

1. Register / update your OTPR on the APPSC portal.
2. From 6 November 2026, log in at psc.ap.gov.in and open the AMVI (Notification No. 36/2026) application.
3. Fill the form, upload documents, pay the fee and submit before 26 November 2026.
