APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2026 notification has been released by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) for 686 vacancies in various Group-II Services posts such as Deputy Tahsildar, Deputy MPDO, Senior Accountant, Assistant Section Officer and GST Officer. As per the brief notification (No. 37/2026, dated 13 October 2026), online applications will be accepted from 10 November 2026 to 30 November 2026 (up to 11:59 PM) on the official website psc.ap.gov.in.

Selection will be through a Screening Test (objective, offline OMR) followed by a Main Examination. Graduates from any recognised university are eligible for most posts, while a few posts require a specific degree. APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2026 Eligibility (Educational Qualification)
- Post Code 01 to 08: Bachelorβs Degree from any recognised university (for Sub-Registrar, a Law degree gets preference).
- Post Code 09 (ASO β Finance): Bachelorβs Degree in Mathematics, Economics or Commerce.
- Post Code 10 (ASO β Law): Bachelorβs Degree in Law.
- Post Code 11 & 12 (Senior/Junior Accountant): Degree in Commerce, Economics or Mathematics (any degree also accepted as per rules), plus a computer certificate course (Office Automation / PC Maintenance / Web Designing) from SBTET A.P., or a computer-related degree such as BCA, B.Sc./B.Com./B.A. (Computers) or B.Tech/B.E. (CS/IT).
- Post Code 07 (Excise SI): Physical standards as per the Detailed Notification.

- Complete or update your One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the APPSC portal.
- From 10 November 2026, log in at psc.ap.gov.in and open the Group-II Services (Notification No. 37/2026) application link.
- Fill in the details, select post preferences, upload photo and signature, and pay the fee.
- Submit the form before 30 November 2026 (11:59 PM) and save a printout.
