BEL Probationary Engineer Recruitment 2026: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has released Advt. No. 17556/HR/All-India/2026 dated 28.10.2026 for 350 Probationary Engineer posts in E-II Grade – 200 in Electronics and 150 in Mechanical. The basic pay scale is Rs. 40,000–1,40,000 (CTC about Rs. 13 lakh). Eligible B.E./B.Tech graduates can apply online till 18 November 2026.

PwBD reservation (including backlog): Electronics 27, Mechanical 18.

Eligibility Criteria

• UR / OBC (NCL) / EWS: First class B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (4 years) from an AICTE-approved college in Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Communication / Telecommunication (for Electronics) or Mechanical (for Mechanical).
• First class AMIE / AMIETE / GIETE in these disciplines is also eligible.
• SC / ST / PwBD: Pass class in the above degree/disciplines.
• Other equivalent disciplines and dual specialisations are not accepted.

Age Limit (as on 01.10.2026)

• Maximum 25 years for UR/EWS candidates.
• Relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC (NCL) 3 years, PwBD 10 years (in addition to category relaxation).

Application Fee

Selection Process

• Computer Based Test (CBT) – 85% weightage.
• Interview – 15% weightage; candidates shortlisted 1:5 discipline-wise and category-wise.
• Minimum qualifying marks: 35% for General/OBC/EWS and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD in both CBT and interview.
• CBT call letter will be available on the BEL website.
